How can I set a ‘Deposit Limit’ on my account?
On WSOP.com you can request to activate ‘Deposit Limit(s)’ which allows you to control the amount(s) you can deposit on a ‘daily, weekly and/or monthly’ basis.
Daily/Weekly/Monthly - ‘Deposit Limit’ - To request a ‘Deposit Limit,’ log into your WSOP.com account:
- On PC/Mac click on ‘My Profile’ > ‘My Account’ > ‘Responsible Gaming’
- On mobile click on ‘My Account’ > ‘Responsible Gaming’
How to increase my current daily ‘Deposit limit’?
If you currently have a daily ‘Deposit Limit’ set on your WSOP.com account, requests to increase your current daily limit will take 24 hours to activate from the time the ‘increase’ request is submitted (There is a 24 hour ‘pending’ period from the time the request is initiated). Upon your first log-in, after the 24 hour period has passed, you will receive a notification the new limit increase has gone into effect.
Example - If you requested to increase your daily ‘Deposit Limit’ from $100 to $200 today, your new limit will take effect in 24 hours upon your first log in.
Please note: If you currently have a pending request to ‘increase’ your deposit limit and decide you want to ‘decrease’ your deposit limit, you will need to cancel the ‘increase’ request via the ‘pop-up’ when requesting the ‘decrease’ limit.
How to increase my current weekly ‘Deposit limit’?
If you currently have a weekly ‘Deposit Limit’ set on your WSOP.com account, requests to increase your weekly ‘Deposit Limit’ will take 24 hours to activate from the time the ‘increase’ request is submitted (There is a 24 hour ‘pending’ period from the time the request is initiated). Upon your first log-in, after the 24 hour period has passed, you will receive a notification the new limit increase has gone into effect.
Example - If you requested to increase your weekly ‘Deposit Limit’ from $700 to $1000 today, your new limit will take effect in 24 hours upon your first log-in.
Please note:
- In cases where your new limit goes into effect on your account before the 7 day weekly limit period has passed, you will be able to deposit the difference between the old limit and the new limit.
- If you currently have a pending request to ‘increase’ your deposit limit and decide you want to ‘decrease’ your deposit limit, you will need to cancel the ‘increase’ request via the ‘pop-up’ when requesting the ‘decrease’ limit
- ‘Weekly’ refers to a seven day time period (168 hours)
How to increase my current monthly ‘Deposit limit’?
If you currently have a monthly ‘Deposit Limit’ set on your WSOP.com account, requests to increase your monthly ‘Deposit Limit’ will take 24 hours to activate from the time the ‘increase’ request is submitted (There is a 24 hour ‘pending’ period from the time the request is initiated). Upon your first log-in, after the 24 hour period has passed, you will receive a notification the new limit has gone into effect.
Example - If you requested to increase your monthly ‘Deposit Limit’ from $2,000 to $5,000 today, your new limit will take effect in 24 hours upon your first log-in.
Please note:
- In cases where your new limit goes into effect on your account before the 30 day monthly limit period has passed, you will be able to deposit the difference between the old limit and the new limit.
- If you currently have a pending request to ‘increase’ your deposit limit and decide you want to ‘decrease’ your deposit limit, you will need to cancel the ‘increase’ request via the ‘pop-up’ when requesting the ‘decrease’ limit
- ‘Monthly’ refers to a thirty day time period (720 hours)
Decrease your ‘Deposit Limit(s)’
Decreasing your ‘Deposit Limit(s)’ is allowed anytime and takes effect immediately
Please Note: If you currently have a pending request to ‘increase’ your deposit limit and decide you want to ‘decrease’ your deposit limit, you will need to cancel the ‘increase’ request via the ‘pop-up’ when requesting the ‘decrease’ limit.
Maximum 3 limit changes per month (30 day timeframe)
Please be advised you may only make a maximum of 3 deposit limit increases in a 30 day period. If you have increased your deposit limit(s) 3 times in a 30 day period you will have to wait 30 days from the first limit increase to make another change (need to wait 30 days from each individual request to pass before submitting additional request(s).
